13, and both 14U rosters have been set. Congratulations

those who will be wearing the Dores uniform next year.

The
Tennessee Dores 12U team went 4-1 this past weekend to capture the
2009
LaVergne Invitational Championship.
Strong
pitching performances and timely hitting helped lead the team to victory.
“I was
really proud of how all the guys competed this weekend.
They worked
hard and had some success to show for it,” Coach Owen said.

the 13U Black and Gold Tennessee Dores.
After taking the number 1 and number 2
seed in the
Jackson June Thunder, the Black and Gold squared
off in what
would go down as an 8 inning battle.
The lead
would change six times in this nail bitter before the Gold team took the lead
for the last time.
The Gold
would go on to take Runners-Up in a hard fought game against the Tennessee
Blueticks.

to the 12U Tennessee Dores for capturing the Championship
in the
The Dores
compiled an impressive 4-1 record and finished the tournament
in
convincing Dores fashion. Next week they
will head to LaVergne to
compete in
the 2009 LaVergne Invitational.

The
Tennessee Dores would like to welcome the
addition of
six new coaches to the program.
Coach Blake
Owen and Ben Meador will take
the reins of
the 12U TN Dores. Coaches Dan Williams,
Chase
Stejskal, Phil Anthony and Steven Goldburg
will work
with the 13U teams. “Quality programs
are only as
good as the depth of the coaching staff.
Each of
these coaches have been where our boys are trying to go.
I am excited
for the future,” said Coach D.

The 12U
Tennessee Dores began the year on the right foot,
winning
their opening tournament, the Ozone Classic in
compiling an
impressive 3-0 record. Three players
were
named to the
All-Tournament Team to include Brett Lyell, Gus Hardwick and Derek Barnett.

Tennessee Dores 12U team begins spring workouts at

team is shaping up to be a group of
quality
young men and ballplayers. “This group
of guys has a lot of
potential to
be as successful in this game as they desire.
There is no
substitute for hard work and so far,
they are
putting in the effort,” said Coach Owen.
